Star Trek movie 2012 update
Star Trek movie 2012 is well under way with JJ Abrams may peg actor Greg Grunberg for the role of Harcourt Fenton Mudd (aka Harry Mudd), as played in a couple of the classic Star Trek episodes. Abrams and the actor have known each other for years and Grunberg worked the actor into the 2009 movie as the voice of Kirk’s stepdad in the Corvette scene. Grunberg has been in almost every Abrams production in one way or another, and as always, talks continue as to the exact plot for the sequel movie.
Many Trekkers love to use items and costumes and props from many versions of Star Trek, and probably especially so at Halloween time. If you are into Mr. Spock and haven’t seen a few new items, then the Star Trek Classic Blue Shirt Deluxe is definitely worth a look. It’s styled according to the original series and is the usual soft and comfortable blue shirt with long sleeves and the Star Fleet emblem on the chest. Of course, there’s the authentic two gold bands on the cuffs. Because it’s made from synthetic material, the garment should last you through many seasons of fun and activities. It’s an officially licensed Star Trek costume, as well.
If you are fortunate enough to have your hair cut like Mr. Spock, then so be it. If not, or your work look has to be more formal, then a Star Trek Movie 2009 Spock Wig will give you that perfect coiffure that Spock always had, even at Amok Time. It’s also an officially licensed Star Trek product so it will be perfect with any of your Mr. Spock outfits.
Many of us who saw the original series on TV, 1966 through 1969 (isn’t it ironic in a way that 1969 is the year we landed on the moon?), may have given our families the Star Trek bug. If your son would love to be a smaller version of Mr. Spock, then the Star Trek Movie Deluxe Blue Shirt for a child will be perfect. Of course it’s sized right and it does include extras. The ensemble features a blue Star Trek shirt, black dickie, pants with attached boot covers and an embroidered Star Fleet emblem.
Don’t forget a pair of classic Spock ears. The Star Trek Classic Spock Ears are perfect in case your own set has been worn so much that they’ve lost their “point”! They are made from latex so are flexible and easy to apply (and take off ready for Monday at the office). The ears are officially licensed Star Trek ones so “no fear with this ear!”.
Have fun this upcoming season and all year long. Be joyful, and at peace. Above all, of course, live long and prosper no matter what your Star Fleet rank is.
